Overton Index (previously just ‘Overton’) is a full-text-indexed citation database of policy documents and other grey literature from governments (national, regional and city), IGOs, NGOs, think-tanks etc, from about 190 countries. It is available through the Overton web application and an API. Overton Index can be used to report on policy citations and to plan for future policy impact, or as a discovery database for global grey literature on any subject. Overton Engage is a database of policy engagement opportunities. It offers a direct way for researchers to access policymakers, improve decision-making and affect real change. Overton Engage finds opportunities to influence policy, matched to your researchers' interests and experience, and helps them to learn how to respond in an effective way. Overton Engage helps your researchers get active about policy engagement.
