Yewno Discover is a next generation discovery tool for academic and public libraries. Yewno Discover helps students and researchers find precisely the right information they are searching for, regardless of discipline and especially if it is interdisciplinary information. This new kind of visual knowledge discovery tool mimics the way the human mind works, using machine learning and computational linguistics to read hundreds of millions of academic publications, and can guide users to the precise paragraph of information within the collection that is most valuable to their search.

Yewno's platform makes semantic connections and conceptual links from millions of scholarly articles, books, and databases across almost all academic fields. Discover allows users to navigate intuitively across concepts, relationships, and fields, learning from resources that might have been overlooked.

Yewno is a cloud-based product. Yewno will map an institution's holdings against the Yewno knowledge base. Where possible and on signing a Content License Agreement, an institution's digitised repository can be ingested and Yewno widgets will be provided to work with other search tools, lib guides and other library pages or resources. Where possible, LMS integration will be included.

Materials: The materials indexed by Yewno which include 300 million pages of full-text content, are listed in the licence. Yewno will send subscribing institutions an updated list of Material on a quarterly basis.

Basic On-boarding and Technical Set up (£1,000.00 one-off set up fee)

• One Site Visit per year for training (Faculty and Library)
• Uploading of holdings information (and option to ingest digital repository with a signed Content Licensee Agreement) with feeds set up

• Social Media Marketing
• Posters for Promotion - soft copies to generate awareness that can be personalised
• Annual Technical Support from Yewno throughout the duration of the subscription.

Yewno Discount Pricing (extra discount deadline):

If signing up in the first six months of the agreement, an additional 40% discount will be provided on the Jisc fee (this discount will be provided for each year of the agreement term e.g. if signing up in the first few months of the agreement, the additional discount will be provided for the full three year term).
