WCAG 2.1 compliant? Level of compliance (rating)?
Informit has recently moved to a new platform and has scheduled testing for WCAG accessibility rating. We have not yet received confirmation of the rating for the platform. It's also worth noting that, as Informit receives content from a range of producers and has a long history of pre-internet content, it's not always possible for all Informit products to achieve the same rating. Informit are committed to sustainable accessibility for their products and platform.
What is the maximum font size and does text re-flow when you enlarge the font?
The Informit platform uses responsive design and resizes according to screen size capability and limits.
Can a user change background/foreground colours or contrasts? How?
This functionality is not native to the platform, however; the user may interact with the browser to achieve this.
Are there keyboard-only equivalents for all mouse actions? Where could I find a list? Are there short cut keys to reduce tabbing round links?
The Informit platform uses browser based shortkey navigation.
Is text marked up so it can be navigated in a meaningful way (for example by heading level)?

Metadata Object Description Schema (MODS) is a schema for a bibliographic element set that may be used for a variety of purposes, and particularly for library applications.
Metadata Authority Description Schema (MADS) is an XML schema for an authority element set that may be used to provide metadata about agents (people, organizations), events, and terms (topics, geographics, genres, etc.). MADS serves as a companion to the Metadata Object Description Schema (MODS) to provide metadata about the authoritative entities used in MODS descriptions.
Metadata Encoding & Transmission Standard (METS) schema is a standard for encoding descriptive, administrative, and structural metadata regarding objects within a digital library, expressed using the XML schema language of the World Wide Web Consortium.
