ACM and Morgan & Claypool Publishers have collaborated to produce a series of research monographs for the computing community at graduate, faculty and professional levels.
The collection currently consists of:
- Graduate-level textbooks
- Research monographs on established and emerging fields
- Practitioner-level technical books
- Books devoted to the history and social impact of computing
Two titles from Collection II have already been published:
- Heterogeneous Computing: Hardware & Software Perspectives by Mohamed Zahran
- Conversational UX Design: A Methodology for Practitioners by Robert J Moore and Raphael Arar
Two further titles are expected to be published in the next few months:
- Concurrency: The works of Leslie Lamport by Dahlia Malkhi
- Data Cleaning by Ihab Ilyas
This collection, like collection I, is hosted on the ACM Digital Library platform that tracks bibliometric data for the entire field of computer science literature.
Subscribing institutions can purchase the entire collection to host locally.

Content and Licence Fees
ACM Books Collection II is available for one-time purchase under a perpetual licence.
To remain consistent with pricing of the ACM Digital Library journals, the publisher declined to offer Jisc-banded pricing for this collection. Jisc members and affiliates have 5% off list price and also a further 5% limited time "Pre-publication" discount. There is a further "bundle" discount should institutions wish to take Collection I at the same time.
